Apply for CTAHE 2021-2022 Board Leadership

April 9, 2021

The Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives (CTAHE) is proud of its accomplishments and especially proud of its members. Year after year, CTAHE wins American College of Healthcare Executives Chapter Management Awards. Our chapter has been successful through the years because of the involvement and leadership of its members. Our members, Connecticut’s healthcare leadership, are second to none!

To continue our success and our chapter growth, we are proud to announce that we are actively soliciting those members interested in taking on a more active role in our chapter. Beginning July 1, 2021, new leaders will be announced for a variety of positions in our chapter. This exciting opportunity will provide the successful individual with statewide exposure as a committee chair or officer, it will give this individual an opportunity to understand the inner workings of our local, regional and national ACHE infrastructure and will allow the successful candidate an opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the chapter and empower them with assisting our entire chapter on its ongoing evolution as a nationally ranked and well respected organization.

Currently, we anticipate two (2) Board of Director positions, as well as a variety of Chair and Co-Chair vacancies. If you are interested in applying, please fill out the board application form here: 2021 2022 CTAHE Board Application and then email back to administrator@ctahe.org.

We also have two (2) student board member positions available; students, please apply with this form here: 2021 2022 CTAHE Board Application Student

If you are not ready to take on a leadership responsibility currently, we have numerous opportunities as committee members in the following areas:

  • Membership
  • Programs Committee
  • Communications
  • By Laws
  • Audit and Compliance
  • Diversity and Inclusion
  • Golf
  • Sponsorship
  • Women’s Forum
  • Finance
  • Education Network

Please let us know if you are interested in serving on any of the committees above and we will connect you with its respective Chairperson.

Thank you for your continued involvement in the Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives. We are looking forward to another award winning, successful year in 2021-2022 and we are really looking forward to having new and enthusiastic leaders help us achieve our goals!

Sincerely,

CTAHE Nominating and Governance Committee

The Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives

The Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives (CTAHE) represents professionals who manage the business affairs of healthcare organizations throughout the state of Connecticut. No other professional association is more inclusive and essential for meeting the career needs and interests of healthcare executives in Connecticut as the healthcare industry transforms to value-based care.

Our CTAHE membership strives to be inclusive of all healthcare stakeholders spanning not only hospitals, health plans, health systems, and independent physician associations, but our universities that are educating our future healthcare administrators.

The Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives (CTAHE) is a chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives, which you can read more about below.

The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE)

The American College of Healthcare Executives is an international professional society of more than 40,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare organizations. ACHE offers its prestigious FACHE® credential, signifying board certification in healthcare management.

ACHE’s established network of 80 chapters provides access to networking, education and career development at the local level. In addition, ACHE is known for its magazine, Healthcare Executive, and its career development and public policy programs. Through such efforts, ACHE works toward its goal of being the premier professional society for healthcare executives dedicated to improving healthcare delivery.

The Foundation of the American College of Healthcare Executives was established to further advance healthcare management excellence through education and research. The Foundation of ACHE is known for its educational programs—including the annual Congress on Healthcare Leadership, which draws more than 4,000 participants—and groundbreaking research.

Its publishing division, Health Administration Press, is one of the largest publishers of books and journals on health services management including textbooks for college and university courses. For more information about ACHE, click here.
