CTAHE’s Call for Nominations – Now Open

April 28, 2019

The Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives (CTAHE) is proud of its accomplishments and especially proud of its members. This year, the CTAHE was awarded the prestigious American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Award for Chapter Excellence; which is awarded to chapters in the top tier in the nation. Our chapter has been successful through the years because of the involvement and leadership of its members. Our members, Connecticut’s healthcare leadership, are second to none!
To continue our success and our chapter growth, we are proud to announce that we are actively soliciting those members interested in taking on a more active role in our chapter. Beginning June 20, 2019, new leaders will be announced for a variety of positions in our chapter. This exciting opportunity will provide the successful individual with statewide exposure as a committee chair or officer, it will give this individual an opportunity to understand the inner workings of our local, regional and national ACHE infrastructure and will allow the successful candidate an opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the chapter and empower them with assisting our entire chapter on its ongoing evolution as a nationally ranked and well respected organization.
Currently, we anticipate Chair and Co-Chair vacancies in the following areas:
  • Chapter Audit Committee
  • Chapter Sponsorship Committee
  • Chapter Finance Committee
  • Chapter Programs Committee
We also have the following Board Officer Position open as of July 1, 2019.
  • Chapter Treasurer (Note, pre-requisite is to be an active Fellow in ACHE or to obtain Fellow within one year of taking the position)
Attached, you will find the CTAHE Chapter Manual with further information regarding chapter committee obligations, expectations and requirements.
If interested in any of the vacant positions above or to be considered for other opportunities, please fill out the application form. The Nominating and Governance Committee will review each application for completion and for alignment with the position. We will contact all new and returning chapter leaders by June 1, 2019 and they will be inducted at the annual meeting on June 20, 2019, with a leadership start date of July 1, 2019.
We are also asking for current officers and committee chairs to re-attest and affirm their willingness to participate in leadership again this coming year by filling out the application as well.
If you are not ready to take on a leadership responsibility at this time, we have numerous opportunities as committee members in the following areas:
  • Membership
  • Programs Committee
  • Communications
  • By Laws
  • Audit and Compliance
  • Diversity and Inclusion
  • Golf
  • Sponsorship
  • Women’s Forum
  • Finance
  • Education Network
Please let us know if you are interested in serving on any of the committees above and we will connect you with its respective Chairperson.
Thank you for your continued involvement in the Connecticut Chapter of Healthcare Executives. We are looking forward to another award winning, successful year in 2019 – 2020 and we are really looking forward to having new and enthusiastic leaders help us achieve our goals!
Sincerely,
CTAHE Nominating and Governance Committee
