CTAHE Celebrates its 20th Anniversary as an American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Chapter
The Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives (CTAHE) recently marked its 20th anniversary as an ACHE chapter with a special gathering in W. Hartford. On January 30th, more than 85 CTAHE members convened to network, exchange stories, and contemplate the future of this dynamic organization. The reception was succeeded by the annual program examining “The State of the State of Connecticut Healthcare.”
Michael Novak, CTAHE’s president and COO of Montefiore Nyack Hospital, remarked, “CTAHE consistently focuses on various ways to support healthcare leaders in their career growth amid a turbulent environment. We educate, network, inform, and, more importantly, we have fun!”
As one of 77 ACHE chapters globally, CTAHE welcomes members from hospitals, health plans, health systems, independent physician associations, industry partners, and universities. It is dedicated to healthcare leadership and advancing health for all.
Annually, this compact yet influential organization hosts over 40 events for its members, ranging from educational programming to networking sessions and study groups aimed at helping members attain Fellowship—the highest credential in healthcare executive management. CTAHE collaborates with other healthcare groups, including the National Association of Health Service Executives, Healthcare Financial Management Association, and all regional ACHE chapters, to reach the widest audience possible.
With nearly 600 members in 2024, CTAHE stands as one of the most decorated chapters. In the 2024 Chapter Management and Awards Program, CTAHE received both the Award for Sustained Performance and the Award of Merit.
CTAHE holds a distinct sense of accomplishment in its dedication to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. In September 2023, the organization was honored with the ACHE Regent’s Award for Achievements in Diversity. Anticipate further strides in 2024 as CTAHE envisions the next two decades!
