“Elevate Yourself”: Refine Your Elevator Pitch
A Networking Workshop Presented by the
CTAHE Women’s Forum
Thursday, February 13, 2020
The Library Wine Bar and Bistro
The Reading Room
60 N. Main Street, Wallingford, CT
5:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Can you communicate the value of your company or yourself in 10 to 30 seconds, the length of an elevator ride? An elevator speech is a clear and brief message or “commercial” about your “value proposition”. It communicates who you are, what you’re looking for, and how you can benefit the person or their company. For job seekers, a strong elevator pitch highlights your key skill sets, passions, and job goals. A good elevator pitch should be interesting, memorable, and succinct. The elevator should also explain what makes you, your company, product, solution, and/or idea unique and valuable.
Every woman should have an engaging elevator speech. Join CTAHE Women’s Forum for this dynamic networking workshop at the Library Wine Bar and Bistro’s cozy Reading Room space and either create or refine your pitch to help elevate yourself and your career. Leave with a completed pitch ready to use!
About the Event:
We will have attendees join a table with others at the same elevator pitch-level as themselves so that they can work together to design, review and practice your pitches. At the end of the event there will be the opportunity to share your pitch in front of everyone, and hear from CTAHE’s President, Kimberly A. Lumia, MSN, MBA, RN, FACHE, Regional Chief Performance Officer – East Coast Division, Prospect Medical Holdings, about her career journey!
